ММА

ММА, or Mixed Martial Arts, is a full-contact combat sport that allows a wide variety of fighting techniques and skills from a mixture of other combat sports to be used in competition. It combines elements of striking and grappling from disciplines such as boxing, Brazilian jiu-jitsu, wrestling, Muay Thai, and karate, among others. Fighters in MMA compete in an octagonal cage known as the Octagon and can win by knockout, submission, or judges’ decision after a predetermined number of rounds. The sport has gained significant popularity worldwide and is known for its rigorous training and diverse skill set required by its athletes.
