Flu Season

Flu Season refers to the time of year when influenza viruses are most prevalent and active, typically occurring in colder months. During this period, there is an increase in the number of cases of influenza, a contagious respiratory illness characterized by symptoms such as fever, cough, sore throat, body aches, and fatigue. The flu season usually peaks between December and February in the Northern Hemisphere, although it can start as early as October and extend into May, depending on the geographic region. Public health measures, including vaccination campaigns, are often implemented to reduce the impact of the flu during this time.
