Nogomet

Nogomet, commonly known as football or soccer, refers to a team sport played between two teams of eleven players, where the objective is to score goals by getting the ball into the opposing team’s net. It is governed by a set of rules known as the Laws of the Game, established by the International Football Association Board (IFAB). The game is played on a rectangular field, known as a pitch, with a goal at each end. Players primarily use their feet to control and pass the ball, with the exception of the goalkeeper, who can use their hands within a designated area.

As a global sport, nogomet has a significant cultural impact and is associated with various competitions, such as domestic leagues and international tournaments, including the FIFA World Cup. The sport promotes teamwork, strategy, and physical fitness, making it a popular recreational and professional activity worldwide.
